IN the wake of the Storm Financial collapse and Cooper Review recommendations that financial advisers’ commissions be cut dramatically to avoid conflict of interest, the Association of Financial Advisers (a contributor to the Cooper Review) has hit back with research saying a lot of people did not mind paying commissions.

He brought up the point that many people, including small businesses, could not afford an upfront fee, so charging by commission worked out for all concerned.
